About our insulation contractor crew in Glendale

How I got into insulation
I learned insulation from my dad. As a teenager I spent a lot of hot afternoons crawling through attics behind him, and he used to say good insulation is the job nobody sees but the family lives with every day. I started this business in Glendale in 2021 with that in mind, and it's still how I look at every house we work on.
Most of our calls come from people in older houses, folks who just bought a place and want to know why it's so hot upstairs, and some property managers. Glendale has plenty of older Spanish and Tudor-style homes, and what's up in those attics can surprise you, so I slow down at the estimate and explain what's really going on before we talk about price. What I care about most is that your house is still safe once we tighten it up, and that you pay only for the work it needs. That's what WeatherFit Glendale Insulation Company is built on.

What you can count on from us
We look before we quote
I come out myself and look over your attic, crawl space or walls before I write the estimate, so you pay for what your house needs and not for fresh insulation laid over old stuff that's soaked or full of droppings. When the crew finishes, I come back and check the work with you, so nothing gets lost between the estimate and the job.
Gaps get sealed first
We start with air sealing, which means closing the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch, before any insulation goes in. Insulation can't do much with a draft blowing through it, so this is the step that makes the rest of your money count.
Fresh air comes before a tighter house
If you have a gas furnace, water heater or fireplace, we plan for the fresh air it needs before we tighten up the house. A comfortable home has to be a safe one, and that's the part of the job I take the most care with.
Licensed, insured and working by the rules
California contractor license
The state licensing board licenses the people who build or alter houses in California, and a license is required once a job needs a building permit, uses hired workers or comes to $1,000 or more in labor and materials, with no splitting a bigger job to get under that line. We're licensed and insured for the work we do.
Glendale business registration
The City of Glendale requires every business located in the city to keep a Business Registration Certificate, whatever other licenses it holds. A contractor based outside Glendale applies for the city's Contractor's License instead.
